POLITICAL FACTORS
National governments and organizations have an important role in determining the future adoption and control of the Internet and the rules by which it is governed. The Political environment is one of the drivers for establishing the laws to ensure privacy and achieve taxation. The political action through government agencies to control the adoption of internet includes:
·         The Promotion of benefits to adopt the internet for consumers and business to improve country’s economic prosperity.
·         To provide guidelines to organizations and assistance for compliance with legislation.
·         Putting legislation to control taxation and protect privacy.
·         To set International bodies to coordinate the internet with independent organizations for controlling internet technologies.

Most of the political involvements in these activities are to improve the economic competitiveness of countries or group of countries.

4.      To expand the skills of e-commerce.

  1. The diagram is clear. You seem to suggest there are different customer segments with different needs. Could have detailed a bit more what these needs are.

The political agenda talks about governance, which is a very relevant topic and there is information about it in Chaffey's book. Questions about who is to govern the internet, its content, its evolution, are at the forefront of political debates. Some people will say we need a kind of "United Nations" organisation to govern the internet. Questions about the official languages, access to content, and localisation of certain services (twitter) to enable governments to block certain content are now being discussed by technology experts and policy makers in 2012. You seem to pick a good debate.
